This case fully records the whole process of Shenbaolai’s customized large art installation project for Shenzhen Bay Wanda Plaza, covering client demand analysis, scheme design, material selection, factory production, transportation, on-site construction and post-project value feedback. As a typical commercial complex public art customization project, it demonstrates our end-to-end OEM/ODM service system and professional advantages in manufacturing large outdoor & indoor sculptures for global commercial clients.

Client: Shenzhen Bay Wanda Plaza, high-end comprehensive shopping mall integrating retail, catering and entertainment.

After reviewing dozens of sculpture manufacturers, the client cooperated with Shenbaolai due to our abundant mall project portfolios and all-in-one construction capacity.

Based on the mall’s minimalist luxury positioning, our design team split the project into three sculpture series:

Outdoor landmark abstract stainless steel sculptures: mirror polished 304 stainless steel, wind-resistant and anti-corrosion for long-term outdoor display;
Indoor giant FRP cartoon & abstract installations: environment-friendly color paint, lightweight and easy to install;
Suspended light matching art ornaments: matched with mall ceiling lighting to create layered space vision.

We delivered revised 3D models and construction drawings twice according to the client’s feedback until full confirmation before mass production.

Our production flow includes CNC cutting, seamless welding, hand polishing, mold casting, multi-layer paint spraying and load-bearing safety testing. Each finished sculpture passed water resistance, UV resistance and structural stability inspection before packaging. Large art pieces adopted split detachable design to solve transportation restrictions of oversized goods.

We customized shock-proof wooden packaging for all artworks and arranged dedicated logistics vehicles for door-to-door delivery. Our professional installation team arrived at the mall in advance to survey site space, completed split assembly, fixing and debugging within 7 days, and cleaned up construction waste after finishing to restore the mall’s operating environment. The whole construction schedule was completed 3 days ahead of the agreed time.

After the art installation went online, the plaza’s public area passenger flow increased obviously, and many visitors took photos and posted on Instagram, TikTok and Xiaohongshu, bringing free viral marketing exposure to the mall. The Wanda Plaza project team gave positive feedback on our design innovation, product quality and efficient construction service, and reached a framework cooperation intention for subsequent seasonal limited art decoration projects.
