Custom Waterfront Neon Art Installations | Yunxi Harbour Dubai Public Pop-Up Project by Shenbaolai

Shenbaolai completed a full-set customized large-scale outdoor art installation project along Yunxi Harbour waterfront in Dubai, UAE. This batch of immersive architectural arch sculptures integrates Arabian classic arch elements, bright gradient color matching and programmable neon lighting, building a highly viral tourist photo landmark for the harbour public space. Our team covered design optimization, structural production, anti-corrosion outdoor treatment, on-site installation and after-sales debugging for the whole project.

The client intended to revitalize the waterfront pedestrian zone of Yunxi Harbour, creating eye-catching outdoor art landmarks to boost foot traffic and social media exposure. Key requirements included regional Arabian style appearance, day&night dual display effect, weather-resistant structure suitable for coastal high-salt environment, and modular assembly for easy transportation and installation.

We extracted traditional Islamic arch and geometric patterns as core visual elements, divided the installation into multiple independent arch groups with diversified color schemes. The main body adopts high-strength fiberglass reinforced plastic with UV-proof and salt-spray resistant coating; embedded LED neon light strips with dimmable colorful lighting system, realizing different lighting modes for daytime viewing and night light show. Supporting rest seats and decorative ornaments are integrated into the whole set to realize functional and ornamental integration.

All modules are prefabricated in Shenbaolai factory, finished with painting and light wiring before packed into containers for sea freight to Dubai. Our overseas construction team finished on-site splicing, fixing and circuit debugging within the scheduled construction period. The finished works form a continuous art corridor along the harbour shore, matching perfectly with palm trees and sea view surroundings.

After launch, the Yunxi Harbour art installations quickly became a popular Instagram and TikTok check-in spot, greatly improving the waterfront’s commercial vitality and online spread volume.
